Downhiller Summary: Not a bad trail going down. Some really tight switchbacks and lots of rock gardens. This trail is nice, because it's difficulty depends on how fast you take it. You can go fairly balls-out the entire way, and feel like you've ridden a pro-level cross country/downhill course. Recommended Route: TAKE SKI LIFT!!! I cannot emphasise this enough! Especially when you have a full suspension, the ski lift is your best friend. If you really want to be a cross country freak, you can ride up Mountain King, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Great long climb if you're up for it. Not too technical though there are a couple of spots where many have to walk on the way up. Nice, fast downhill. Recommended Route: Up the King of the Mountain trail and down Golden Eagle Other recommended trails in the same area: Otero Canyon, Cedro Peak area

Cross Country Rider
, from Albuquerque, NM Summary: This is a good begginner to intermediate trail network - but for those who are either acclimatized or in decent physical shape. Not realy technical, although some of the turns can be challenging to a beginner who doesn't have control.
one way traffic in some places tends to keep things safer.
definately a trail system for those who don't want to get out into terrain not so well marked or have to rely on a map. Views are good and this is a good place to ride aftert work when all the other trails are very hot. Recommended Route: climbing is a must. These trails are not that challenging if you are in decent shape. There are chair rides for flatlanders on invalids.... Other recommended trails in the same area: Bosque, Maze, 4 hills, South Foothills
