These trails are great. There are lots of trails with singletrack. A combination of fast downhills, awesome scenery, some technical sections, and lots of trails that branch off and are open to bikers provide for a lot of riding time.

Summary:
Following the route I took, the trail seemed like it was going to be boring. But after crossing the Pino Trail (140) things got a lot more interesting! First of all, there was two or three inches of snow on the trail at the upper reaches. Then I started hitting the rock gardens. It got really fun... This is a great resource for Albuquerque!!! I found joggers and dogwalkers to be polite. I didn't sense any tension between the various users of the trails. Keep up the good work bikers so you don't lose the trails.

Recommended Route:
I was in town on business and followed the route recommended to me by the shop I rented the bike at.

Summary:
Fantastic single track with plenty of fun for the begining mt. biker, as well as plenty of challenges for the more advanced rider. This is the best ridable single track in the area when all the other trails are covered with snow during the winter. CAUTION: All the various trails along the foothills are very popular with both local hikers and runners, especially on the week ends. So please yield the right of way, so that we can continue to use these trails in the future.

Recommended Route:
Start at the Embudito trail head and head north towards the water towers above the tram terminal.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Some pretty good trails around the Embudo area, and south to the Interstate.
