Summary:
Lots of log bridges, rocks, roots, downhills, uphills. Great trails for intermediate riders. Also, i saw people camping for the weekend and riding out of their campistes; that looked like fun.

Recommended Route:
Lackner trail all the way to Stony Lake, where, upon arrival, turn onto Station Trail to Swenson Trail (Swenson is some really sweet downhill). Then, continue down the road to Blue Mountain Trail, take back to Kittle Road (paved) to Coursen Road (same) to ranger station where you started. All said and done, about 9 miles of sweet riding.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
none

Summary:
Stokes was a very nice ride, a lot of hiking, but still a nice ride. The stoney brook trail starts out nicely but becomes unrideable about five min. into the trip. Sunrise Mtn is great place to eat lunch and take in a great view. If you make the trek up there be sure
to pack an extra set of lungs along with your sandwich because it's all up hill. Make sure to hit the swenson trail on the way down. It's a fast semi-technical single track with a couple of little log bridges along the way. There's also a couple of rocks along the way that you could snag some air off of. Stokes is a good place for a camp and ride weekend.

Summary:
This is a great place to ride if you like riding over big logs. Ride the Swenson trail, great log jumps, even a cool little bridge over a big log. Careful when it'e wet or even damp, the rocks are slippery and will try and kill you!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
High Point S.P. and several other less-than-legal trails that you'll have to find by yourself. Also go up to the Stewart Airport buffer zone in NY for some awesom, super fast single-track.

Summary:
It is some sweet riding. You have some fast trails for the experienced rider and the trails for the less talented bikers. There are trails for young kids to. Stokes is a good place to learn. But there are definitly technical trails. What can i say it's great!!!!!
