Summary:
This area is private land owned by the Newark Watershed Conservation and Development Corp.
They sell a "Hiking Pass" which enables you to park at specified locations without getting towed or ticketed.
Mountain Biking is not permitted on the marked hiking trails. Of the countless woods roads within, only a few are recognized by NWCDC as appropriate for bikes. As a general rule, those marked are hiking trails, please stay off them.
You can get the pass from the office on Echo Lake Road in West Milford. This area also connects with Wawayanda State Park which does permit mountain biking on marked trails.
Terrace Pond is within this State Park.

Summary:
There's alot to explore in the watershed. Get the permit and stay off anything illegal.(Consult latest map) Watch out for horses, hikers, and hunters.

Recommended Route:
Continue on Stephens Rd. from the parking area. Look for the red single track on the right. Follow this for a few miles. Connect with a yellow jeep trail and follow back to Stephens or explore numerous other jeep trails and single-track.
