Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Asheville, NC Summary: If you are looking to shatter any stereotypes about New Jersey, this is not the trail for you. Actually, if you're looking to have any fun, this is not the trail for you. While it does have somewhat technical climbs (due largly to erosion), the downhills were not enough fun to warrant climbing for me. Most of the trail is within a powerline right-of-way on service road type double track. Furthermore, navigation requires a good bit of guesswork, as there are no markings. We eventually just gave up, cut through farmland and rode back via the road to Lambertville. All in all, way crappy. Don't bother, even if you live in the area. Recommended Route: Good question... Other recommended trails in the same area: There is plenty of good riding in Pennsylvania just across the river. This trail was a good lesson in why it's best to ask a local shop where the best places to ride are.
