Summary:
New trail alert! Just discovered additional new single track, it's already marked and fun and fast to ride. It is now possible to ride a single track only lap that is about 5 miles long and never leaves the hilltop reservation. If more time and distance is required, ride the connecting rail trail to gregory's and mills in cedar grove, that makes a 12 - 14 mile ride

Summary:
Plenty of climbing and winding descents with curvy off camber connecting trails, lots of opportunities to go fast for short distances on well marked but relatively rugged trails, for a short 1 hour session, it can be a full workout. There are still sections that are hard to clean every time and there have been new rocky sections spotted that should soon be part of a trail.

Connect all these trail to mill reservatoin via the rail trai, theres a trail between Fairview and the railtrail at the north end of the Hilltop

Recommended Route:
all of hilltop and all of mills via gregory's, about 14-16 miles of advanced cross country riding

Summary:
i too ride in this area almost every day. it is a nice place in the middle of a congested area. has lots of great trails. keep you eyes out for white reflecters. most of the trails are fun. Its not too challenging, but technichal in places.

Recommended Route:
can either park in cedar grove parking lot(off of fairview ave) and walk up paved road, or if you live in the caldwells you park in the mountain park parking lot, off of mountain ave, then nfollow the paved road to a small green arrow and take this trail into the reservation. However, the cedar grove route is your best bet.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
gregs pond, mills , south mountain
