Belleplain State Park

The South Jersey Wheelman and JORBA have built 8 miles (12 miles when completed) of singletrack trail in the park. There are 3 sections to the trail. 1st section is a warm up/ beginner section, 2nd section is a little more twisty and have alot of turns and section 3 which will be built Saturday May 5th will be the most advanced section of trail. I've ridden section 1 and 2 and its flows very nicely...However, it still needs alot of tread to be put down to make it faster and worn in. For trail building and trail maintance advice/schedule on Belleplain State Park check out JORBA.org. The main office at the park should have maps for the complete trails soon.

Summary:
Saturday May 5th will be the final builiding day..will be meeting at the main park office @ 8am. Trail is super soft and slow..needs tread down to wear it in.

Recommended Route:
Take road back to Lake Nummy..park in parking lot and look for Pavillion along side of the road you came in on. Trail is marked in Pink. Bring plenty of water and food..you will be on the trail for a while (10 miles). Have fun!!!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Big three Batsto, Estell and Galloway Tract

Park at the parking lot next to Lake Nummy...There will be a Pink Trail Marker next to the Pavillion on the road you drove in on....the trail starts there.....You may have to take fire roads back to your vehicle..since the trail is not completed yet.
