Weekend Warrior Summary: Looks like most of the reviewers here are confusing this trail with the Thompson County Park trail in Monroe (which is MUCH better, BTW).
The trails are mostly sand, sand, and more sand. Sand gets so deep you can't ride your bike!
It's more catered for ATVs and motorbikes. if you do see the trails (too far in between the sand trails) suited enough for bikes, they're unmarked and confusing. I ended up on somebody's backyard following the trails!
not to mention that some of the hills aren't quite for beginners...and they look too dangerous (well, at least to me).
Forget this trail. Recommended Route: Don't bother. Other recommended trails in the same area: Check out Thompson County Park in Monroe.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Thompson Park has everything from begginers to dirt heads. The park is hilly, muddy, sandy, has logs, water, STEEP hills and low hills. My family and I go together and we all find trails to keep us occupied for several hours with no roads to cross. Just be careful of the standing water - it Stinks! Recommended Route: Use the entrance behind the dog park on Perrineville Road. You can branch off any way you want to go from there. There are simple, intermediate, and hard trails. Enjoy!

Cross Country Rider Summary: Jamesburg/Monroe park AKA Thompson park off exit 8a NJTPK is off the hook. These trails are wicked as s#*t. I don't know what kind of inexperienced rider gave such a low score, but he needs to check his self. Crazy drops, tight single track, water crossing, breath taking vistas, and to top it all off endless trails. This is a gem of a park with so many trails of endless, technical single track I assure anyone who rides, they will not be dissapointed. You can go all over the east coast and not find a better ride. Recommended Route: From devils hill straight back take the first trail and feast your eyes on some of the finest riding in the US Other recommended trails in the same area: Immalystown is alright, but doesen't come close to Jamesburg Park.
