Cross Country Rider Summary:
can anyone tell me how far north the ridable trail goes?
i've gone as far as long valley...but it seems to disappear at that point.
what i've riden so far is an easy enjoyable ride...
like to stop a gourmet sandwich shop in califon...or at the general store

Weekend Warrior Summary: Not a difficult trail. About 7.5 miles long and it starts and ends in High Bridge or Califon; which makes pick up of drop off really easy. Perfect for the family, but nothing that is going to get your blood flowing. Marked every half or quarter mile. Recommended Route: Normally, I start in Califon and go have lunch in High Bridge and bike back. The califon enterance is on or near Vernoy Road, but it goes through califon anyway, so you can start there.

Weekend Warrior Summary: The section after leaving High Bridge up to Hoffman's Crossing has great scenery for a rail trail in Jersey. After that the trail continues but just isn't as pretty. This rail trail is enough to make for a good family outing

Weekend Warrior Summary: This is probably the best trail in New Jersey; well-maintained and perfect for casual nature riding. Complement the trip by making a "U-turn" in Califon to the Ken Lockwood Gorge Trail (which runs parallel to the trail between High Bridge and Califon, closer to the river). Ride along side the fly fisherman half-submerged in the river.

Weekend Warrior Summary: A great day trip. This is a very scenic trail with great views looking 60 feet down to a river, steep rock walls, and tons of trees. The trail is very easy to navigate on. Not much grade variations. Recommended Route: High Bridge to Califon
