Rt. 23 to Clinton Rd. exit. Go down Clinton for about 1mile then pick a trail there are many. *NOTE: you probably should go to the town hall and get a permit, they do give them out. But usually no one bothers you.

Summary:
Word of advise....DON'T GO HERE!!!! 15 minutes into this ride, i saw some weird things. (bloody artcles of clothes, slaughtered animals, etc.) and decided to high tail it out of there. I'm not a believer in ghosts or any of that crap, so I'm not going to give details but - I saw and heard something that scares the wits out of me. That's all I will say. I will NEVER even drive on that road again.

Summary:
This area is private land owned by the Newark Watershed Conservation and Development Corp.
They sell a "Hiking Pass" which enables you to park at specified locations without getting towed or ticketed.
Mountain Biking is not permitted on the marked hiking trails. Of the countless woods roads within, only a few are recognized by NWCDC as appropriate for bikes. As a general rule, those marked are hiking trails, please stay off them.
You can get the pass from the office on Echo Lake Road in West Milford.

Recommended Route:
Lud Day CCC Road.
Paradise Road.
