Cross Country Rider Summary: There is something for everyone here. I know there is downhill and freeride stuff, but I ride mostly xcountry.I found good flowing single track with some technical features in abundance. A lot of recent work on the trails has led to many miles of quality single track. There is a large hill in the area that is about 600 feet of climbing with steep ascents/descents. The trail builders did a good job of dealing with this with lots of switchbacks and traverse sections. Recommended Route: I entered off of timberlane dr by the gate. This is old gilsum rd and it divides the area into east and west. To the east of the rd is the dnhill stuff, rock piles and ramps and drops up to about 8 or 10 feet.
To the west is most of the single track. I went up gilsum rd past the second pwrln intersection and went left at a little "WHALE BACK" in the rd. I followed this down to under the pwrlns and went left/dnhill to goose pond. I then took a left and found a s'track up to just south of the 1st pwrln. Ithen repeated to the whale back down to the pwrln and took a right there. this led back up to gilsum rd. I then went up to yr mutha? and down and out. There were several trails I didnt do. This was about 15 miles of riding.

, from Keene Summary: when you enter power line#1 on the top you can go straight through and hit "single track #1 to #2 to #3". then take left on fire road. take next right, climb slightly to where road bends left and look ahead. you will see a single track(this is "the edge")take a left at the bottom and in 200 feet you will come out to civalization. This is a good loop and there are lots more. Recommended Route: take Timberlane DR. to where it bends right. look to left and see fire road(this is gilsum road) continue climb up this. go through power line#1 then take first right. go through power line#2. then climb to fork and go right. climb to power line(this is power line#1)You are now on the top of "ya mutha". Other recommended trails in the same area: take right when entering powerline#1 on top and follow powerlines staying left this is "ya mutha",or take right and take single track about 100 feet on right this is "glavin". there is also "4 ass", "atom bomb", "bitch", "clevis","water tower", and "the steep to goose" just ask locals to go with and show!!
