Greely Ponds Trail

This trail is a mix of fire roads and single track in the beautiful White Mountain National Forest. It is pretty technical due to all the roots. Full suspension advised. (if you want to go fast). Go all the way to the upper pond, chill on one of the beaches, soak up the sun, have a bite to eat and get ready for your descent. Though the trail is not steep, it is fast and you can catch some good air on the rock and root drops, watch out for others ascending the trail. If you want the full Monty, go all the way to the Kanc and head downhill to the East ponds trail and go up and over the ridge to the Tripoli Rd. and back to Waterville. This will surely kick your butt. Very technical, lots of climbing and a dh that makes you wonder how you ever rode a hardtail bike.....all legally...no wilderness areas here.
