Dartmouth Hitchcock Trails
2 reviews
 4 of 5

Some fun singletrack, slightly technical at times, a few small climbs but for the most part downhill. There are 3 or 4 trails that run behind and around Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center each color coded with trail markers on trees.

Trail Directions
Off of exit 18 on 89 follow signs to DHMC or hospital. Just prior to the entrance to the hospital on the right there will be a dead ended section of road straight ahead of you. Right there is the entrance to a fire road. Once on the fire road follow that for about a mile or so until you see signs for the trail entrance on your right (Approx. 12"x15"). All trails empty out onto the road looping the hospital.

Summary:
My buddy and I found this trail today in search of new places to ride in the area. Once you enter the trail off of the fire road the singletrack is kinda rooty and rocky. Makes for a slightly difficult start but after a few minutes the trails cleans up and it is bombs away. All 3-4 trails intersect one another at some point or another so there are a couple of different ways you can go. Overall it is fun to ride and not overly challenging.

Recommended Route:
This was my first ride on the trails so I don't have a recommended route yet.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Boston Lake Park, Rail Trail, Killington, Norwich, Cornish Forest, Croyden Forest
