old mountain road/mount livermore
1 reviews
 5 of 5

this is the most technical, arobic trail i have ever ridden. it starts with a 7 mile or so ride in, then it starts to climb up the old mountain road between livermore and morgan. this hill has only been cleared by a few people, and rhino bike works has a prize for anyone who can clean the trail from the base of old mountain road to the top of livermore. the downhill is loaded with switchbacks, i hink 32 of them, so its fast and fun. once at the bottom, the trail climbs again to the top of old mountain road. no the fun begins. you get to go down the climb you assended that morning. this downhill beats out any pro dh course i have ever ridden. have fun. contact slade for more indepth directions, or Mr. Durnan at the Holderness School.

Summary:
this is truely an epic ride. this trail belongs on the imba epic ride list. the trail, as stated above, is one long downhill, and uphill, depending on how you look at it. the switchbacks are sweet, fast and fun, while to last downhill is a blast.

Recommended Route:
have not ridden this is over a year, so ask the guys at rhino bikeworks

Other recommended trails in the same area:
