fast. fast. fast. and curvy. all this trail is is technical twists and turns with a few short climbs and fast steep drops. i recomend that if can get your hande on one, a full suspention is the best bike for the trail. you can really sink into the turns riding one. there are a few trails that make up gyroscope, but there are 2 maine trails.
ask the boys at rhino bikeworks, they built it. it is behind the main strip next to the pemmi. it starts right before the bridge, of accross the street from the psc feilds.
Summary: Friggin fast, non-technical single track. I actually go to the college in Plymouth so i ride this trail a lot, its great to burn off some steam between classes. The trail is not technical at all, and can easily be done on a bike with no suspension, and is a blast on a single-speed.
Recommended Route: Start on the side twords the college and work your way to the Irving side.

Summary: First time on this...was a good time...I'll echo a lot of the previous comments about it not being technical, unless you get cruising.
Pretty 'smooth' trail. Keep your hands in, trees can get close. Good trail for no suspension or suspension.
Generally, very enjoyable ride.
Recommended Route: Off exit 25, head towards Plymouth, Take a left on South River Road, bear left at first cross street, Park in mini lot opposite of grey/blue house (you'll see signs for Public Use area)
Other recommended trails in the same area: Smart Brook - Campton
Welch - Campton/Thornton

Summary: I just rode this trail for the second time in a couple of weeks. Like the other reviews said, fast, fun, TWISTY. I logged 5-6 miles in just over an hour, and I tried to ride most of the trails. There are 3 main loops, the first one is to the north of the power lines, off of the trail out of the parking lot. The second is south of the p.l. (stay right at the fork), and dumps you out onto a dirt road. Turn left on the dirt road, and the third loop is up a hundred yards or so on the right. If you go right on the dirt road, it ends at a nice beach on the river. There a a few log rolls, and a couple of quick 'up-and-overs" to break up the zig-zags. Also a couple of dirt-jump areas. Seems I own a chunk of this property-cool.
Recommended Route: It's exit 25 off of I-93, NOT exit 26. Take the last left just before the bridge into Plymouth, left again, park in the small, signed lot, ride down the dirt road S. out of the parking lot. When you get to the power lines go left for the first loop.

Summary: This trail is SMOKIN!! May not be the true definition of mountain biking, but this is one of the coolest trails I've ridden. Big single lane BMX track, no ups or downs, but rippin speed & turns tighter than some really tight stuff!!
Did a couple loops, this place is nutz. At one point we heard another groups of riders yelling "man down" after he caught a tree, we could see them 15 feet away, but they were like 1/2 mile away on the trails. Some sections were so tight you could high 5, or possible clip handlebars passing someone going the other direction on the next trail. We had a dog with us, and she's used to being out front the hole ride, but she got so confused with the turns & trail overlaps she kept missing them. This place must be a blast at 10pm with helmet lights!!
Great ride, highly recommended if your in the area, plus you can pop in the river when your done. But don't go here expecting drops, tech, downhills or endurance busting uphills, just all out balls to the wall fast cycling fun.
Aerobic & technical difficulty ratings will vary, overall both would be a 1 or 2 BUT the faster you go the more aerobic challenge and technical steering difficulty at speed you can create for yourself.
Recommended Route: Just off Rte93 at Exit 26 or across the river from the center of town, take a left(from 93) or right(from town) at the bridge. Down that road past a few houses is a small single/double track heading into the woods. Follow that for a while and head right, down a tight single track thru a grassy field, take a right till you hit the bank of the river then left and look for the trails among the tiny trees.
Other recommended trails in the same area: I wouldn't recommend any of the other trails I found to ride in the area during the weekend I was there.
