The Jungle

this is one of the more technicial trails arround the area, and its a local favorite. the trail starts with a fast double track downhill with lots of jumps. the trail then climbs up a narrow technical hill with one large fallen log accross the steepest hill. once you reach the hight of land, it levels out for a nice long ride through some beautiful new hampshire woods. this section is why the trail is called the jungle, its over grown in places, and its dark, and muddy. the trail ends at the top of the knarliest downhill at the quarries. have fun
go out little pond road and take your first right after the farm. this road should bring you to the snow shoe club. the trail starts at the yellow gate before the club and it includes some sick jumps and a great view of the resevior.
Summary: this used to be a daily route for me, butit got a little boreing after the 50th time riding it. the only part that never gets old is the downhill at the beginning. it is full of jumps anf looks like it was built for biker cross. although not it has been leveled by the city of concord for some new housing development as with opther trails in the area. its a damn shame that concord feels compelled to ruin our trails. yes we have bike parks, but nothinbg beats the trails made with blood and sweat in our local neighborhoods. i am very upset with our city right now.
Recommended Route: same as stated above, even though there are 2 trail branches, take the right branch, it goes to the jungle.
Other recommended trails in the same area: hospital, quarries, clough state park.
