Cross Country Rider Summary: From Jefferson Pilot building is a nice climb/(and excellent technical downhill home) for strong riders. I rode in the fall so it was hard to find some of the trails. The trails are not to technical (aside from the 1st climb). Finally glad to find something closer to home other than clough ( a great ride) Recommended Route: start at jefferson pilot Other recommended trails in the same area: clough! check out boscawen town forest too

, from Local Summary: I had a really good ride. I didnt think it was too crazy. The large quarry at the top is absolutely beautifull (except for the graffiti, dumb kids), worth the trip just for that. That quarry (theres a few) is located at the top and there is a splendid view of Concord from the very steep cliffs just off the quarry. There were three vultures circling off the cliffs so I got a real close view of them, magnificant! I came out at one point at the Concord water supply on a residential street. I turned around and went past the NO TRESSPASSING signs and back into the woods where i had just come out. I dont know if anyone is enforcing the trespassing thing because there is many trails in those woods. There is a trail that runs along the telephone lines which was pretty good too. Next time I'll see if i can make it to Concord Hospital from the quarry. Kinda, strange, I was out there for three hours and i didnt see one person. Recommended Route: I entered from the very back of the Jefferson Pilot financial building located at Granite place. You can enter at the very rear of the cemetary
Other recommended trails in the same area: Really good single track at Masabesic (www.fomba.com)

, from concord nh Summary: i ride this trail every day, for i live 5 minutes away by bike. from the jefferson pilot building, its alot of tech climbing. i only recamend that route for the best tech climbers, unless you want to hike-a-bike more then ride. the only problem is that a family lives next to the best access to the area and wont let anyone ride there. little do they know that just about every jounior mountain biker starts from there. Recommended Route: start at the snowshoe club and ride the jungle wich ends up in the quarries. from there ride to state owned access road and take a left onto a nasty little downhill section, from there its all up to you Other recommended trails in the same area: from the zeinth of the quarries go across the road, from there you can ride some of concords best trails. they are located behind the hospital and offer trails for all skill levels. my house is a favorite start point for most ridders. the best trail is off the access road, by the watter tower, and it goes behind Granite Ledges, a new old folks home. if you want to get more info or join up on one of my many rides drop me an email or call me at 225-7995. i get back from school on may 27th.

, from Concord Summary: Many trails experienced riding for the most part, be aware of cliffs from the old quarries and stay away from the prison... Bike magazine included this ride in a New England specail a few years ago... Recommended Route: I enjoy the route through Via Tranquila, less climbing, But any of the numerous entrances will do. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lots of fun and swimming

, from Concord Summary: bring bug spray, water and your swimsuit. the first quarry is beautiful to swim in. Recommended Route: Ride up the trail behind the cemetary to the first quarry, that is pretty much the hub of all the trails in that area. From there you can choose to go for several different rides. keep going up the hill for a really great long ride with a mix of single track, double track, uphill, downhill and cross country.
