Primarily singletrack with some snowmobile trails. Many cool things like the boardwalk, hang on and pray bridge, the ledge steps, and the plummet.

Summary:
I've been riding these trails since I could ride a bike, if you really must know that was '74. Back then the single-speed, frog green schwin did the job. Some trails have grown over since then, but the Rec. Dept. and local bikers have improved the Pinnicle trail system 10 fold and now are taking it a step better with new trails toward Coit Mt. Technical new additions with a NE flair, ie riding an old stone wall lost many years ago to the forest, slimy roots and real NH slick rock, you can't help but dig these trails. When ever I'm in town I can't wait to spin the .2 mile to the Cheney St. trail head to take on the New MTB Meca of NH.

Recommended Route:
Just get in there a play around, there is regularly something new to try, park at the High School and you will climb top to bottom. Spin up from Summer St. and you'll start nearer the top.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Pike Hill Road to the Mica Mine, the old Cornish Turnpike and of course Webb's

GREAT MOUNTAIN!!! ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT CHALLENGING TRAILS!!! I RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY!!

Recommended Route:
There is a sweet bike race that the lions club puts on every year and its the best 5 miles ive ever done. you do 2 loops for a beginner and up to 4 for an expert. There are many old stone walls and challenging trees and other obstacles.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Webbs Forest

Summary:
Uphill with challenging technical obstacles. A couple of cool bridges thrown in. All rewarded by a sweeping, downhill singletrack with some imposing features. Rippin stuff. Like steep downhills try "North Boundary Trail" if you don't go over your handlebars, your butt must be sitting on the tire. Good course for intermediate and advanced. The lower sections are ok for Novice. A good set of lungs will get you to the top. No Smokers.

Recommended Route:
The EFTA Race Loop is the best 5 miles

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Moody Park, and Webb Forest

Summary:
The Pinnacle trail are very well maintained and full of fun challenges. Highlights for me were Ledge trail which has a couple of cool bridges and Barton Woods, an awesome downhill single track.
The trails are good riding for anybody with atleast some mountain biking experience, although the less experienced will probably walk some of the more knarly sections. This is not the best place to take a first timer.

Recommended Route:
Follow the EFTA race loop, see website for map.
