First section is fast singletrack with 2 log jumps-all DH. At the bottom of that there is a small gravity cavity with some hard pack and at the Y intersection turn left. Turn left at the sand dunes for some slight DH hardpack. Turn left right before the railroad track onto singletrack which is always the muddiest trail with log bridges, climbing and decending. You come out almost where you came in. Go left and around the corner on some level hardpack. There is a Y intersection: go left. This brings you back to the sand dunes on the other side. Turn left right before thi=em up a short, steep climb. This is an easy trail with just hardpack and roots. When you come out there is a field where you can see the road you came up on. Cross the field parallel to the road until you find the Gravity Cavity. This is an extremely steep drop with a long, steep climb right on the other side covered in think sand. This trail will bring you to the road. there is a trail on the other side that runs parallel and then hooks back uphill and will dogleg 90 degrees back down to the road. There is a EFTA race every year on the second sunday in July every year with about 400-600 people so if you ride it in mid-July you can just follow the beaten path.
When you come from rt. 12 go all the way to the intersection of maple, pleasent, and rt.12 and turn hard left onto maple ave. there is a sign to the park less than a mile on the left. go to the top of the hill and at the end of the road turn right onto the trail.
Summary: This trail is not for bikers who has a hard time riding through mud and over roots and rocks. For riding these trails it is better to ride with tires that have an agressive tread, if you do the trails with regular tires you will still have a blast but it is kind of hard to do.
