Pisgah State Park

Wedged in between Hinsdale, Chesterfield and Winchester NH. Pisgah is a mix of ATV, MTB, Hiking,skiing and snowmobile trails. We started on chesterfield rd. after driving out of Winchester on rt. 119. After entering the park and descending almost to Broad brook road we unloaded and headed north and then turned on Broad Brook RD. We were now headed south and passing many old homesteads and the old Dickinson lumber mill. the road was drivable with a truck or 4 wheel drive up to the cross link where we took a right. this was pushing for me and up and down for a mile. once we reached the Reservoir road it got better up to the Jct. of the Dogwood trail. Here was a steep climb up to the reservoir. Turning right at the next Jct. it was ridable but got progressively more challenging until I was pushing again. The bad section lasted for over 2 miles and then started to improve after the no. ponds trail. Another mile and we reached a very scenic over look and started descending to chesterfield rd. with more decent than climbing back to our vehicle.
