Summary:
if you survive the dh go scout out the ramps and bridges. some really narrow found 1 ramp that ended in a 7ft drop.

any of the dh trails. start at top of hill go thru the crotch of an oak tree(you know what im talkin bout) then look out! sick, steep, fast, tight,good drops,multiple lines.killed my self until i got it dialed.

Summary:
A - main trail - easy but sorta technical between the 2 endpoints of I.
C - wider woods s-track - marginally rooty/rocky
D - narrow woods s-track - very rooty/rocky/wet spots
I - narrow woods s-track - very rooty/rocky with a challenging switchback/transition area
H - not brave enuf to ride this down (use your own judgement)
G - great little connector trail - technical at top then swooping s-track downhill If you kept going out on A (past I) outside the conservation land you will find some really technical s-tracks that someone has put alot of work into (ramps, ladders and other stuff that scares me just to ride next to!)This is a real maze and you will need to figure it out on your own but be warned it is VERY technical. Of course you could just look at the map and pick your own damn route. Most of it is excellent to build intermediate skills and moderate climbs. Some of it is expert (especially off the reservation s-tracks).

Summary:
This was a nice ride to get to from the town of Salem. I was borrowing a no-suspension, heavy bike but I put my clipless pedals, seat and bar ends on and was able to ride this place pretty well, but my hands suffered. Needed the granny a lot since the gear ratio was high. There are many offshoot trails that don't get ridden much and you will hit some bogs (and mosquitoes and flies!). On the southern part of the private land there are some clearings of firewood cutting I guess which kinda mixes you up, so go back when you hit that area. If you ride over a 10 ft long, 1 ft wide bridge about 5 ft above a stream you will reach the clear cut area soon. It is easy to get lost but the place is not incredibly expansive but you may have a hard time getting back to the trailhead if you go to the private land trails. I eventually bailed out on the east side of the private area onto Zion Hill Road. I took that back north to route 111 and got back to the trailhead. There is lots of fun on the public trails and it's a lot harder to get lost plus the trails are ridden there more. There's easy stuff or tougher stuff if you want rooty, rocky climbs. Don't think this trail is for wimps since I did it on a low tech bike. But there are easy areas for novices.

Recommended Route:
The other reviewers know the place better than me and I agree with their plan. There are posts that mark the mapped trail and there is one sign that tells you you are entering private land but doesn't tell you not to go there. You will see houses in this area.

Bear Brook was awesome but some areas have biting flies that will drive ya nuts. Exeter was technical rooty, muddy and rocky but fun.

Summary:
Good intermediate ride with some harder stuff thrown in for fun. The trails are identified with letters (a thru F, are easy single track, and all do the loopy thing. Be on the lookout for unidentified single track trails bracnhing off these....follow them...these are super fun! Look for the ripping downhill from the top of C..includes 4 foot drops and the like. Eventually, follow the "A" trail away from the entracnce and you will leave the town forest property and enter private property. The owner don't mind (as locals have told me) and there are many miles of stuff back here. Just don't trash the place! Get lost, have al ball and look out for the water that's up to your stem deep!

Recommended Route:
Ride with the intention of getting lost. Since this is hard to do, it makes for a never ending adventure!
