Hampstead Trail 1
1 reviews
 5 of 5

Much of the trail is "maintained" by kids on 4-wheelers, although I don't see many out. It is mostly flat with up and down (like everywhere else in southern NH). Some spots are easy riding. Other spots I have to carry my bike (maybe you won't!). Trails crisscross back and forth through out the woods, coming out at various spots. At the longest point I have found, it was about 7 miles and came out in Plaistow. Pick up a rough and incomplete map at the Hampstead Library. Drop me a line if you want to go.

Summary:
I submitted it, now I review it. I love this trail. I have ridden it about 5 times now, and always come out some place new. There are dead end paths, and I have got lost in the trees twice. The trail looks like people are riding ATVs, but I have only seen one four-wheeler and no other bikers.

Recommended Route:
Whatever you can find. They all crisscross anyways.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Hampstead Trail 1; Actually Hampstead has a great trail system. you can pick up maps at the library at the juction of NH 111 and NH 121.
