Directions: From Reno, take I-80 East, Take EXIT 48 toward FERNLEY/FALLON/ELY/GREAT BASIN NAT'L PARK. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-95 ALT / NV-343. Turn SHARP LEFT onto US-50 ALT. US-50 ALT becomes US-50. The loop is located 5 miles east of Grimes Point at Rainbow Mountain.

This is very technical and fun loop with some steep climbing over jeep trails and extreme drops over single track.

Summary:
This is our a desert mountain loop here in Fallon, NV. It plays host the the only mountainbke race we have here each year. The trail has steep granny gear climbing on jeep roads and once you reach the top you are heading into even steeper single track descents. Only 6 miles but, you will work for it. The scenery is nothing to brag on.

I have uploaded my GPS track for the trail.
