Mt. Charleston- DH- Rooster's Ridge

This trail start at the Rooster's Ridge parking area. Hop the curb just right of the sign and your on the trail. You'll descend a couple hundred feet hang a sharp right and go straight into a 2 1/2 foot drop. You'll then find your self in a clearing. Go right into the trees and you end up in a technical downhill wash that will really give your suspension a work out. Go left and you will weave your wave through trees and G-outs for about 9miles. Some pedaling is required on each trail but more so on the tree winding one. Very little climbing though. From either trail there are intermediate forks that take you away from and bring you back to the main two trails. If you go long you will end up at a large tree next to the Kyle canyon highway. If you go short you will end up at a large gravel parking area just east of the Mt Charleston Hotel. These are great fun with lots of friends to take turns shuttling.
