From Blue Diamond Bike Outpost Bike shop there are 30+ mile of trails including Spanish Trail and the Hurl. Rocky Gap is nearby in RR conservation area($5.00 admission). check with bike shop. there is a map posted on the door.
most trials leave right from bike shop P/L. owners are happy for you to park and ride.
intermediate rocky ST with some climbing. you can create an epic ride here.
Summary: I'm only familiar with the Blue Diamond side of this extensive trail network, riding it on brief Las Vegas stopovers. Except for a few sandy sections and one or two technical spots, it's a blast of a racecourse.(But can't speak for the high trails over the bluff south of town.) If you can hit it during the wildflowers of spring you may find it heavenly. The rest of the time, just keep your eyes up and hammer. You can buy a map at the shop, or like the man says, "Just go out and ride."
Recommended Route: Landmine Loop from the firehouse on the NW side of town>>down Inner Loop Tr. at the big trail sign>>around Late Night Beginner Tr. through the Hwy. 160 TH>>back on Inner Loop bearing NE>>back on Landmine bearing E then N back to town. (The trails aren't named on the ground at intersections but if you have any sense of direction and keep your eyes open for the great big landmark features, have no fear and "Just go out and ride.")
Other recommended trails in the same area: Blues at Boulder City
