Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode the Blood Run and Oak trails only; both at least twice. Hilly stuff you got out there in bluffs country. I rode Ponca in the morning and Stone St. Park in the afternoon and man did I get a workout. Ponca has wonderful views of the Missouri River and I thank you other reviewers for posting here else I woulda missed a day of fun.
Misses: Too many trails crossing the paved Park roads. I would imagine that riding in the summertime with all the sight-seers driving around would be a mistake. Recommended Route: Nothing horribly scary on Blood Run or Oak, but boaf are very worthy trails that will dump you if you stray. I trailheaded by the Archery Range area which worked out great.
For you Archers, the range there is great...lots of 2-D targets at varying ranges/altitudes to hone your skills, as well as a broadhead area. Other recommended trails in the same area: Stone St. Park

Cross Country Rider Summary: I wasn't that impressed. If you link up all the trails and count the miles on the park road then you may get 18 miles. There are some nice downhill sections and views of the river. Overall....if it's all you have, then it's pretty good. If your wanting to drive an hour or two... look for something els.

Cross Country Rider Summary: A really nice trail system. I am skeptical about the trail distances as listed on the park maps (seems shorter to me) but maybe I am having too much fun to gauge accurately.
If you live in and around Sioux Falls, SD this would be your closest "good" off road ride (1 to 1.5 hour drive) which is a very sad fact.
Nicely laid out trails which provide challenging climbs and rewarding decents. Non-technical but fun. Seemingly few people use these trails. No hint of horse droppings or the trail destruction they cause. Recommended Route: Combining the Old Oak and Bloodroot loops in varying ways makes for some really nice riding.
Corps of Discovery is not a great bike trail (rock steps which would be rideable if you are the type who enjoys risking injury on man-made obstacles)
Buffalo run is nice and is the longest continuous trail in the park Other recommended trails in the same area: Newton Hills (AKA The Horse Highway)
Big Sioux Recreational area (AKA Big Suck)

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Knoxville, IA Summary: Lots of good climbing. Some nice swithbacks, a few roots and trail with some good off-camber riding for a couple hundred yards. The off-camber section has a nice drop-off that would hurt a lot more than most things you would encounter in Nebraska. Overall, its not very technical but there is nothing else in the area that is more challenging. Some of the trail is singletrack, some is nearly doubletrack. These trails are maintained strictly by the park rangers and staff, so for their continued support of mountain biking, its well worth the $2.50 day pass. You could easily spend a few hours here and not get bored. I think you could probably get a season pass for $10 or so if you like it and think you will be coming back. Recommended Route: Just stop at the ranger station and pay $2.50 for your pass an they will give you a map of the trails. All trails can be ridden in either direction. They are fun to ride wither way too. Other recommended trails in the same area: Stone State Park in Sioux City, IA.

, from South Dakota Summary: Very hilly, I thought that the trails were better maintained than at Indian Caves. Not as difficult as the caves thought either. Overall comparable to Platte River and Indian Caves. Not as much traffic though. Good views of Missouri river. Recommended Route: Lots of trails, all are pretty good. Just find a trailhead off of the road! Other recommended trails in the same area: Lewis and Clark-SD,NE, Stone State park-IA, Newton Hills-SD, Niobrara State park-NE.
