Summary:
Well the previous review is not reffering to oldfather prairie which is the trail at the park. Oldfather prairie used to be sweet ten years ago but it has been mellowed out by the park. There is however another trail that connects to the oldfather prairie that isn't a part of the park. A fence must be crossed to get to it but I believe it is reffered to as the Heyden prairie. The local guys there can can show you the way. Stop by by the bike shop in Hogans sporting goods by the mall The bike hut or something like that. They can let you know all about it. It is a pretty technical trail with some short climbs involved. It is the best the are has to offer, but don't go on a hot day, there isn't any cover out there.

Recommended Route:
Start oldfather, but hop the fence first thing. It's easy to pick out, there is a clear trail right on the other side.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Nothing for hundreds of mile. There is a hidden little place called potters pastuer but good luck finding that place.

Summary:
This concrete path is great for a family or someone out for a lesiurely ride. The difficulty level is negligible and appropriate for any rider. The only hill is at the University, where the trail head is, and that is not a serious problem. I would recommend this as a warm up to more adventurous riders, because there are more challenging trails at the park where the trail ends.
