Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Billings Summary: There are several trails within the park. THere are two trails that go east for approx two miles. ONe trail is on the very top of the rims and prosses onto private land. The second trail is a bit lower (30-50 feet) on the rims and pretty much parallels the upper trail. BOth are fun, but the upper one is easier. The upper one can also be combined with some of the trails located on the eastern sike of the Indian CLiffs housing development.

, from Billings Summary: There is alot of single track for all levels. Some areas are scary if you go to fast because of the cliff you will go off if you lose it. There are some big drops that will test your nerve. It's a great xc trail, with lots of options that anyone can have fun on. If you're in Billings, on a tight schedule, and are trying to sneek a ride in, it's definatly worth it. The worst thing about the trail, is there are sections with lots of broken glass, but I've yet to get a flat. Recommended Route: There really isn't a better than the other route. All of the trails will go from easy, anyone can ride, to some pretty technical stuff. Other recommended trails in the same area: Shepherd ah-nei(sp)

, from Rochester, MN Summary: This is a really nice local trail system. Not a great deal of mileage but great riding considering you are within Billings city limits. The upper trail from the parking lot west to the new housing devlopment is perfect for cross country riders with undulating terrain, some nice views, and fast single track with short stretches of slickrock. The lower trails are more technical and will challenge the technical skills of non-expert riders. Much more slickrock here with some decent dropoffs and a little cliff exposure thrown in for good measure.
