The LT Trail

Average Rating:    (3.5 of 5)

No. of Reviews: 4

The LT Trail is one of the premier trails in Bozeman, and quite possibly the best trail in America. To access the trail, park in front of the South Side Park Recreation Center at 5th and Alderson. Top off all of your waterbottles here...you'll need it. Look for the singletrack taking off to the south. This trail has it all! Sometimes sexy and smooth, it will bring you pure euphoria. Other times rowdy and sassy, it will send you home in tears.
This is a great after-work ride ridden as an out and back, or if you have a full day and are an epic rider, you can piece it together as a loop by riding back on 5th street to your car.

Summary:
Well she's definitely a quick one, but let me tell you it's one hell of a ride! Though I must say it gets a little hairy at certain points. The trail has tons of potential, if only it were groomed a little more often. Its a fun one to ride in groups since the trail is pretty wide. I thank the many riders that have blazed this trail before. I will have fun with this trail for years to come. Watch out for the big mud puddle near the trail exit though.

Recommended Route:
Rail it hard, straight through...there's no other way

Ha the muktuk trail

Summary:
This is the most celestial track since Mario Kart's "Rainbow Road." The flow and rhythm of the downhill section made me truly believe I was riding a baby dolphin.

Prepare for the subliminal, and savor it, for its charm will only last a short time. Once it becomes Bozeman's Silk Road, it will never be itself again. So it goes.
