Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Kalispell Summary: Most people can not ride up from the Columbia Mountain TH because it is so steep. You have to be in shape to ride up. If you are into steep DH push up to the top. It is about 7 miles but well worth the view and DH. Do the loop mentioned above if you are more into riding than pushing. Recommended Route: The trail is about 7 miles up but well worth the view and DH. If you drive about a mile past the TH, on the right before the brigde there is a closed road. You can ride the closed road for about 1.5 miles and take another route to the top and come out the Columbia MT TH. It is not as steep but it is a little longer. It is about 8.5 miles up but a lot easier. The loop is about 15 miles if you take this route. It is only about 14 if you take the staight up straight down approach.
