This trail runs from Bolivar to Springfield (about 34 miles). I live in Bolivar now, so it is easy to just hop on my bike and start going. I usually only go from Bolivar to Wishart (1/4 of the total trail), or Walnut Grove (1/2). The northern half is a lot better because there is a lot of vegetation surrounding the trail making it feel like riding through a forest, and there are less people on the trail (may be a negative for some people). The southern half was mostly next to a road and had less trees, so I didn't like that part as much. This trail is great for exercise and having a relaxing ride, but it is definitely not a MTB trail. The whole trail is flat and smooth.

Recommended Route:
I do the northern half because that's where I live and I think it's nicer than southern, but if I lived in Springfield, I'd do the southern half. I plan on doing the whole trail, but only 1 way because that's way too far to ride there and back!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Sac river, Two Rivers Bike Park, Pomme De Terre (Bolivar Landing)
