Klaus Park

This is a brand spankin' new trail that we cut in fall 2008. It is approximately just less than 3 miles. It is a very hilly park, but we designed this trail to run along the sideslopes of the terrain for the most part, so it is a contour trail that should prove to shed water nicely and withstand erosion. There is a long sustained climb up a gravel hill/doubletrack type road, but other than that, it is ALL singletrack and no huge lungbuster climbs. A few dips/small ravine crossings, but no real creeks, and no rocks or large roots yet. It is a mostly non-technical trail, but still proves to be enjoyable for beginners and advanced riders alike.
Once you turn into Klaus Park, we park at the first pavilion and head straight into the trees where you will intersect the trail within 25 feet, then take the trail to the right in a counterclockwise fashion.
