Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from St Peters Summary: Last reviewer had it right. Its a twisty hilly Katy trail. However, after 3 days of hard rain, I hit it early on a saturday morning and it was a mudfest. The fox run trail through the middle was extremely sloppy. Its great fun for a change. VERY fast but watch out for all of the dog walkers. It's no chub but with all of the variations, you can make a good ride out of it. Mostly fire roads, but if you watch off to the side, you will see some unmapped singletrack. Recommended Route: All Over

, from Ballwin, MO Summary: basically a twisty katy trail with hills and stuff, with shrubbery and woods on either side. super fast, but watch out for joggers and slower bikers, and horses, and walkers. a pleasants area, but there is no challenge, so keep that in mind. although there are all kinds of super tight and twisty trails all through those woods which are great fun if you know where to look. Recommended Route: all around Other recommended trails in the same area: castlewood, chubb, greensfelder, cliff cave

Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from ballwin, mo Summary: i grew up right across the street. i don't actually live in missouri anymore, but i wanted to give it my vote for convenience and just a nice spot to go riding in the middle of west st. louis county. the trails are fairly wide to accommodate horses and walkers. most are gravel, few paved, and if you get into the pastures, there's some mud, too. overall, it's some pretty easy riding, even for someone who doesn't ride very often. it is scenic enough and you just can't beat the convenience! it's fine for beginners and experts that are looking for a change of pace. Recommended Route: any of the trails through the park. i recommend the loop that goes all of the way around on the periphery of the park. there's two or three nice hills, and you can cut through some horse pastures. Other recommended trails in the same area: mill creek (rolla), castlewood (ballwin)
