Weekend Warrior Summary: I live only three miles from this trial and I don't see myself going back any time soon (if ever). It would be fun with a dirtbike or atv, but for mtb it doesn't offer much. Flat. Big mud holes. And it looks like last week someone cut down dozens of trees that now block the main road, which doesn't cut down on the fun (because there wasn't much to begin with). The trees were probably cut down to stop truck traffic.
The trail goes farther than I cared to go. It looks like it follows the RR tracks for a long way. I guess it would be good for XC on dirt, gravel and mud if you wanted a good mix.
Recommended Route: Its pretty much one way, with some meandering through some woods.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Whatever you do, don't even bother with this worthless dirtbike trail. It is the flattest location in Missouri and it had been about 2 weeks since the last rain and it was still a mudfest. I don't know who did the initial review, but he obviously doesn't like single-track very much. Anyway, go to Landahl and be happy. Recommended Route: Go directly to Landahl and bypass at all costs

, from Kansas City MO Summary: The track in not kept up to par you run into alot of guessing where to go. There are some logs and stumps and few switchbacks. Good for a first time rider. The location is great being close. Recommended Route: start just right of the archry range because the track is short due to the construction on the train track

, from KCMO Summary: Tried this trail and am not sure it is public property. There is private property of both sides of the creek, and no indication that the trail itself isn't also on private property. It doesn't appear to be part of any public land, park, or trail system.

Ridden Trail: Once a month

Reviewed by: REB
, from Kansas City Summary: The beginning of the trail is somewhat weedy/brushy due to lack of riders. Once on the trails, the first half is fairly flat with a lot of quick turns. The second trail system is more technical with steep climbs and descents. Be sure to pack a patch kit and necessary tools because the trails are fairly secluded. Recommended Route: Due to some recent railroad construction in the area, some of the trails have been blocked. The washed out bridge and train overpasses have been replaced by culverts. This requires those unfamiliar with the trails to do some exploring to find them. When you get to the culverts, you can continue south on the service road and cross the tracks at the concrete gate and hook up with the second system of trails. The alternative is to climb over the tracks at the culvert and work your way east.
