Little Dixie Conservation Area

not a real challenging trail, no big hills or descents, but does have several creek crossings and some rocks. good beginners trail. it's most fun to ride after a rain, if you like playing in the mud. very few users, i never saw another bike the day i was there. nice ride to see lots of wildlife. bring your own water supply and plenty of it if it's hot. had my first real ride there after mending a fractured tibia, and it sure was nice to be riding a trail again!

Summary:
this trail winds around little dixie lake through wooded areas and open fields, with several creek crossings. good trail for beginners and family rides. the state does keep the grass mowed, unlike many of the equestrian trails around here. not much technical riding, there are a few rocky creek crossings and there will be muddy spots after any substantial rainfall. no steep uphills or downhills or log crossings. for riders seeking to improve their skills, there are much better choices. advanced riders will find this to be a boring ride.
