, from Branson Mo Summary: Hats off to the trail builders. They have put in lots of time on these trail. If you havent built trails before, then you cant truly appreciate there work. Our only disapointment was that there were not more wooden stunts, but I have coresponded with the trail builder and he has a good point that since the land is private, dangerous stunts would not be the best idea. I was glad to have my full suspension, there are lots of rocks on these trails. If your a wimp in the rocks, go ride the Katy trail. In years to come as they have time to build more trails this place will get more and more fun. Including our detour we put in about 6 miles. I gave this trail 3 stars because it is not yet up to the length that I prefur, but when it is i'll be back. Recommended Route: Start at the information building/wellhouse and folow the trail sign. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lake of the Four Winds

, from Camdenton, Missouri Summary: Cross creek offers at full bore what other trails in the are only give you a taste of....hardcore technical riding. Jumps, drops, teeter totters, bridges, log crossings, gut searing climbs and eye watering descents and at least one hidden section that you don't dare to venture down without body armor. Don't get me wrong, this is a great trail for every level rider, and all the really technical sections have bypasses, BUT IF YOU WANT A CHALLENGE....HERE IT IS:.....try to ride this trail without dabbing. The last time I rode it the guys were working on some new sections which I have added in this review. I look for more loops in the future, and expect them to be just as fun as what is there now. Something to keep in mind...this is a private trail on private property. Your interaction on the trail could have DIRECT BEARING on whether this trail remains open. I think after you ride it, you will agree that is in our best interest to do everything we can to keep it open. Recommended Route: Stop by Oz Cycles and talk to Tim (573) 348-6221, and for crying out loud buy something/anything before you ask the guy for a trail map. As mentioned by Joe above, there is a central hub to this trail 3/4 miles from the trailhead. To get to this point, park at the information center/well house and look for the sign the reads "trail". You will hit the dirt road hub after 3/4 miles. When you get to this point for the first time, STOP... look for the signs straight ahead. If you follow these signs and the simple directions, you will not miss any of this trail. Go straight ahead to the Figure Eight which brings you back to the dirt road hub. Go DOWN the dirt road to the Rock Garden which is at the bottom of the dirt road and across the county blacktop. Cross the county blacktop again and start up K2. Just before the last hill on K2, there is a new section that goes to the left and hooks back to the original trail for additional distance and some sweet bench cut. This will eventually dump you on the dirt road hub for the last time. From there go UP the dirt road, cross the private road you drove in on and you are in the North Shore. Look very closely for the new lower loop about a half a mile in on the right...it is marked with a small directional arrow and adds about 3/4 miles. This section drops you on a gravel road which you cross to the Bowl. Cross the entry road blacktop once again and ride the hill back up to the well house. Other recommended trails in the same area: The trail of four winds is as good a cross country trail as your knobbies will ever greet
