Bar K Ranch Trails

There are many many trails, and I only rode one loop so I havent even scratched the surface of this place yet. Its typical ozark single track. Lots of rocks, tough climbs, and killer down hills. The trails are tighter than most of the stuff in chadwick. Mainly traveled by horses. I checked the forest service website to confirm that it was legal to ride there. If you like it rough this place rocks.

Coming from Springfield exit hwy 65 at Ozark and follow Hwy 14 to Hwy 125. Stay on 125 through the town of chadwick. Follow 125 for quite a ways until you see a Nation Forest Sign on the left that says BAR K wragler camp. If you reach a small town called Garrison you went to far.

Summary:
These trails are great! Lots of winding single track with some fast downhills. Lots of different trails ranging from ridge tops through the woods to rocky river bottom. Very little traffic except for a few horses. This trail has a wide range of difficulty levels. I would not recommend riding here after rains because the mud is a nightmare. This trail is also know as Swan Creek Trail.

Recommended Route:
Start at Tin Top Ridge
