This land is owned by The University of Southern Mississippi and they have given access to prevent hunters from poaching on the land. These trails are very good for beginners with some technical spots. Lots of switchbacks but flows really well. Please see the link for trail maps.

Summary:
Well maintained singlletrack trails through mature pine forest and some bottoms. There are a few hilly spots and some fast downhills at times. Due to the tree canopy, these trails stay relatively shaded and can be ridden all year. The trails are well maintained by local riders, so the trails are usually clean, open and fast. Minimal sandy spots with the vast majority of the trails being hardpacked dirt with not much roots. Good Trail system.

Recommended Route:
Start on the Longleaf Trace at Jackson station heading west. ~1/4 mile take a right onto Turtle loop. Turtle loop to 8 mile to Cow pasture to the pipeline. Follow pipeline back across Trace to Rain shed on the right. Rainshed to Death Valley to Dam loop to Mt. Tuffburg back to Dam Loop back to Death Valley to Roller Coaster to Trace back to Jackson Station.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Nearest trails are Bonita Lakes in Meridian, Bethel in Biloxi, Mt Zion at Brookhaven, TCMBA in Ridgeland, Butts Park in Jackson.
