Weekend Warrior Summary: I recently moved to Memphis from the Western US and am really enjoying "the hunt" for all the good trails within 150 miles or so. I really think this is a great trail. Wait-actually I KNOW it's a great trail. I had a true Grin Fest for sure. It was just technical enough and just hard enough to make me realize that I'm not in the shape I used to be in. I really appreciated the work that obviously goes into the trail & big thanks to those folks @ the Oxford club that have worked hard! The primitive camping available right there @ the trailhead is a huge bonus for folks and I'll no question be goin back to have a Blast on this trail again and again. Recommended Route: Looked like it was meant to be a 1 way ride.?.? Other recommended trails in the same area: Wolf River and Stanky Creek.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I ride a lot, and love to ride a lot, and usually ride medium + pace and enjoy my time in the woods... but this trail made me want to buy a $5000 XC race bike! This is probably the most fun trail I have ever been on. It had the potential for super speed with sharp turns and quick hills. It was like a roller coaster ride with fast hills and quick turns. Made you feel like the jet bikes in The Empire Strikes Back. It lacked any technical challenge, but I get enough of that at home, this was more like a fast fun race course. I live 3-400 miles away from this trail but will always bring my bike if I am ever even close to it again. I highly recommend it. Recommended Route: I think it is supposed to be a 1 way loop... Other recommended trails in the same area: Bonita Lakes in Meridian, MS

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is Miss. mountain biking at its best. Surprisingly hilly. Well maintained. Lots of old growth hardwoods, nice views of Sardis Lakd, and some killer switchbacks. The trail has been recently extended and is now 10.1 miles. A great ride and a great work out. Primitive camping available.
Recommended Route: A short 15 min drive from Oxford, MS, a cool college town (Ole Miss) with great restaurants and music venues.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is relly fun, lots of great downhill, with leg and lung burning climbs as well. Technical enough to make you pay attention. and long enough for a good workout. Trail is well designed and very well maintained. I particularly liked the solitude of this trail, as well as the lack of traffic getting there.(provided you not go on Ole Miss game day) One other detail is that this trail has so much hilly terain that it drains very well and can be ridden shortly after it has rained. I have ridden many trails and this one may be my favorite. I intend on making it a weekly trip. Recommended Route: Clockwise from trailhead. Ther is a good bike store in oxford that can assist with directions advise on trail condition, or assist with some repairs. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fruit loops in Oxford, Arkabutla lake trail, or Stanky, wolf river, or Herb Parsons in Memphis.

Weekend Warrior Summary: First time on this trail, drove down from Memphis. This trail is definetly worth the drive. Fun downhills countered with some tough climbs. I bit it pretty hard the first 1/4 mile of the ride and hurt my knee pretty bad, however, the trail was so fun that I grinned and beared the entire 10 miles. If you are within two hours of this trail, it is defintely worth the drive. Other recommended trails in the same area: Stanky Creek in Bartlett, TN
