, from Starkville, MS Summary: I was unable to ride the entire trail due to swamp-like conditions. I can see enjoying this trail when it dries completely. Other recommended trails in the same area: Noxubee Crest in Ackerman; The Research Park in Starkville

Ridden Trail: Once a month
| |
Reviewed by: Hugh Ector
, from Starkville, Mississippi, USA Summary: This is a good beginner's single track loop. There are a few logs to go over and a couple of bridges where a beginner might want to push. However, the trail in in the "big woods" where there are large trees, many of which are labeled. It is as flat 3.4 miles as you can get, but in the fall, after the leaves are fallen, it may be a little difficult to follow. The north side of the trail follows roughly the Noxubee River (a creek in size). Parking is available at the trailhead. The trail forks just beyond the river bridge. At the river there is a map posted. Recommended Route: Either clockwise or counter clockwise. Other recommended trails in the same area: Research Park Trail and Scattertown Trail.
