From laurel: Take hwy 15 south; go 8 mi. to Boutwell road. turn left and go 2 miles to forest road 201. Turn right and go 5 miles to rd. 213. Turn right and go .5 miles to trailhead. From Hattiesburg/Petal: Take hwy 42 East. Go east 22 miles to Richton. Turn left on hwy 15 north and go 10 miles to Firest road 202. Turn right on Road 202 and go 3 miles to road 218. Turn left and go 5 miles to trailhead on left

Summary:
If you're a serious biker forget these trails. The horses have taken over and the trails are in bad shape.

Summary:
This route has a lot of variety with some steep climbs, stream crossings, fast downhills, technical areas, and single track. You can ride for hours...but you better pace yourself and take plenty of water.

Recommended Route:
There are numerous loops.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The ATV Trail is close by in the same area.

Summary:
This trail is ok once you find the actuall horse trail...It sounds like some of these people did not ever get on the trail...Yes it is slow but i hvae road much worse

Recommended Route:
Take the north loop!!

horrible. i am not going to review this trail fully. it is a gravel road with horse poo. do not waste your time

don't go

hattiesburg is closer and a good 3 times as good for me
