Awesome singletrack maintained by local club and State Park. Lots of climbs and descents. Stream crossings, bridges, you name it. Showers, campground, cabins, lake. Intermediate to advanced.

Summary:
Nice trail. Plenty of ups and downs. Parts are technical and parts are pretty smooth and fast. It's in pretty good shape except for just a couple trees in the path. The path could use just a little tender loving care but it's pretty good. Good ride - I like it. I wish there were more trails around here.

Recommended Route:
From Columbus take Hwy 69 southbound about 5 miles to Lake Lowndes Rd. Then turn left on Lake Lowndes Rd and follow about 3 miles until you're at the gate to the park. Enter the park and drive until the end where the dam is and park. Ride across the damn and follow the trail. A couple hundred feet on you left after you cross the damn look for a sign that has a picture of a hiker - it think the sign says "Hiking Trail" - Here you are...

Summary:
11-13-04 The hiking & biking trail on the South/dam end has been closed due to logging. The fire roads and single track on the north end are still open & should be safe from logging. Several of us local riders have been given permission to improve and extend the single track on the North end. If you'd be interested in helping, email me at "ddavis662 at yahoo dot com" for more info.

Summary:
Great trail with decent uphill/downhill with both single track & daul track. It offers easy, fast trails and tough, technical trails. FacePlant Slope will suprise you. Any other locals interested in planning a "work day" to fix/clean up the bike trail.

see above

Recommended Route:
Cross the dam then follow trail (single track) Once you dump out on the double track go either left or right. It is basically two figure eights on top of each other. If you go left take all lefts (mostly) to hit all the loops. If you go right, take all rights (mostly) and it will end up at the single track back to the dam. Not the most technical trail but it's close so ride what ya got

Summary:
This trail provides all level of riders with a nice workout. There are many stream crossings and bridges.
I feel that the trees in the trail only provide the trails with another technical factor which in no way makes it a bad trail. There are showers, campgrounds, and an activities building along with a boat ramp.
