Summary:
There are tons of SUPER singletrack trails. They are mainly used by Enduro Riders. SOme spots are sandy, but it is Brainerd, the whole town is on sand. Towards the middle of the season the bugs get bad. But the trails stay pretty clear, from the dirtbike use. The singletrack is rutted in ares but makes it that much more fun, adding to the tech. style of riding many of us enjoy. There are a few climbs, generally pretty sandy, But more advanced riders should not have trouble with them. The trail is not marked, but whatever way you go in, all you have to do is turn around and ride back the same way, the trails are fun either way you ride them. For other cool trails, including the Crosby and Riverton Mine pit area, lots of drops and really really clean water lakes, Give me a call at 218-829-8542, It is the Trailblazer Bikes phone number. Don't go to Pillsbury, it is supper lame, lots of bugs, lots of rocks and sand, and Horse shit everywhere, personally I don't like to ride/share trails with the horses. Have fun!!! Ride on!!!!

Recommended Route:
Go to French Rapids ski area. But don't ride the lame ski trails. They are very wide and it is real short. Rather than following the road to the Public access, take a right and go onto the airport property.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Crosby Mine pits, Riverton mine pits, The BMX track, give it a try, big jumps and a good way to train!!!

Summary:
This is a snowmobile trail during the winter. Early spring riding has a great asortmant of riding conditions. However there is a lot of hills in this area. This is a definate must ride area for the intermedant or exspert rider. Have fun and see you on the trails.

Recommended Route:
Just get to Brainerd on HWY 371 take HWY 210 int Motely. Go about ten miles on 210 and you will se a sign on the left. Take left and park in the lot. Have fun riding.

Summary:
This is not singletrack mountain biking. It is primarily a horse trail. BUT- it is beautiful, and
there are lakes and camp grounds in the area. I actually had a very pleasant experience with the exception of a very serious wood tick problem. If you
are in the area give it a try. This is not a trail for those who are only interested in hardcore singletrack. It is a pleasant ride though.

Recommended Route:
Call the state park system

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lots of wood ticks.
