Lester Park

Average Rating:    (4.5 of 5)

This system sports single track on the east side of the river mixed with double track ski trails on the west. There is plenty of varied terrain to keep all skill levels satisfied.

Summary:
I live close to the trail so that would be worth lots of chiles. The trail is linked to Lester cross country ski trails, the (famous) seven bridges road (Eagles Song), & the amity creek trail. From the latter it can link you to Hartley via a snowmobile trail to Owattona St. This route has really a good climbs with some technical trails along towards Hartley.
Lester itself is technical, yet flowy than Hartley, Piedmont or Spirit Mountain.

Recommended Route:
I do the route that Great Hawks Chase race followed, I have added some seven bridges road riding. At the top of sky line parkway I turn right to amity creek and go back to the single track. That gives me about 10 miles of loop.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Hartley, Piedmont, Spirit, Mont du Lac, Pokegama, Streets of Duluth

Summary:
I find it challenging. I am a 3rd year new guy, and still find it challenging. There are some pretty good decents with small bridges at the bottom so you have to have a bit of confidence and control. Good place with lots of challenges. Good technical skill building trail.

Summary:
Technical single track on both sides of the river. No huge climbs but good elevation. Great scenery and wildlife.
