Tight twisty and tasty singletrack. Always of camber, going up or down. Very fun loop right out of the city. Kudos goes out to the BLAST trail builders!!!

Summary:
Not just a fun trail but a great workout. I live in Elk River and ride the whole trail 3 to 5 times a week. What a work out! I am not the faster rider but enjoy challenging myself to make it through the whole thing without stepping off the pedals. Keep a eye out for the buck thorn brush/weeds that over hangs the trail. You can get some pretty deep cuts on you hands, arms and legs. Section one and two are a great warm up and 3 beats the crap out of you and section 4 in a nice cool down with some nice long areas to coast and catch you breath. I can't wait for the snow to go away and the trails to dry up.

See ya on the trail!

Jamie

Summary:
This is a great trail, well worth the drive out of the cities. The trail is tight hard-packed sweet single track that winds throughout the woods. Although there are no big climbs, there is not a flat piece of ground on the whole trail. It's not technical, just smooth and rolling. It's fairly challenging and verges on epic during your 3rd or 4th lap. It reminds me a lot of the new singletrack they are building at Lebanon. The trail does get somewhat overgrown in late summer, but it's still worth it.

Recommended Route:
It's a one way loop, very easy to follow
