Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode this for the first time last night. I thought it was pretty cool. I started out at the YMCA camp (I asked a guy who worked for the Y about the trails...he said the public can ride them anytime after 5 pm.) I gotta say that after reading the other reviews I was a little surprised. I thought these trails were better than previously described. It felt more like a Milaca than Hillside in Elk River. It was spread out, with lots of variety. Nothing super technical, but it was a decent workout on the sections with the switchbacks. There were long flowing sections, sections that were well worn, and sections where I almost felt like I was bushwacking. These are the type of trails I like. Lots more to explore...it seems like you could get lost back there! I will be back! Recommended Route: I started at the Y camp and followed the arrows. There are probably a few dozen combinations of routes you could do in there. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hillside in Elk River
Milaca
??? (I'm kinda new to the area)

Cross Country Rider Summary: I would like to try this trail but just one or 5,000 problems... There are "No Trespassing" signs everywhere, all gates are locked up tight. Signs say "Trespassers will be prosecuted under law". I don't know about you but I like to ride on dirt not be ridden by Bubba. Don't even waste your time cuz this is YMCA camp ground and they want no one there but YMCA events. Recommended Route: Another trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Elk River, Lake Rebecca, Lake Maria State Park.

, from Rockford, MN Summary: Went for the first time last night. Got lost a few times as some of the blast signs were missing. The first part of the trail kind of boring. The last part was fun and technical through the woods. Recommended Route: Follow the blast signs. Other recommended trails in the same area: Elk River
