Trail Directions
|
From Marshall, head south on Hwy 23. As you drive south you will drive by the town of Lynd. There are two ways to get into the park. Either enter the highway park entrance or the back road entrance.
Hwy Entrance: Continue driving south on Hwy 23 until you get to the park entrance on your right hand side. The park has either daily, weekly or yearly passes for vehicle entry. Once you get in the gate, take a right and head down the hill - do this on your bike too. As you get to the bottom, take a right before the river bridge and park in the lot. This is a central spot for the trails and leads to most of the park's offerings.
Blocked Gate Entrance: Enter Lynd and take a left after the railroad tracks. Continue down the road (it will wind a bit for about mile or two) and you will be stopped by a blocked gate in the road. There's is a bike path around the gate and the trail head is on the right. Take the trail into the park and it will lead you to the same trail system mentioned above.
