Cross Country Rider Summary: A great trail for west enders, especially now that it is legal. Not as entertaining and thrilling as Lebanon but still great single track with the flow and good use of space. Please support MORC and MOCA; ski areas charge more money for riding one day than what a donation to MORC can provide for a year's worth of riding. Recommended Route: Follow the signs (it is well marked) and stay on the bike trails. Visit http://www.mocatrails.org/ for the details.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Just posting to point out that many of these trails are now LEGAL, thanks to the efforts of MORC and MOCA. And there's MAPS and TRAIL MARKERS, which makes things 5000% more fun if you don't know your way around. Apparently this is part of a "pilot project" to see if construction of singletrack in ALL metro parks is feasable. PLEASE treat these trails well, and be polite to hikers, runners, redidents, etc. This one summer could hugely impact the quality of MTB riding in the Twin Cities! Recommended Route: http://www.mocatrails.org/files/Maps/Orthophoto_Map.jpg for the map.
http://www.mocatrails.org/ for general info on the project.

Downhiller Summary: MORC is fixing up this trail alot, its better becasue theres a lot more orginized trail but its bad becasue they took away all the fun flowy sections of the trail, and also distroyed the jumps in the feild and took down all the bridges, but have no fear if you creative and got some balls you can do the wall drop on the side of the trail, but over all i would recomend going and doing this trail, its fun and is alot cleaner now that MORC has worked on it, there is still alot of work to be done on it too so come out and help with trail work,so go to the website and get involved morcmtb.org Recommended Route: just take the loop, and after your done hit up the jumps on the other side of duluth street in the this little park thing Other recommended trails in the same area: browny, cedar

Reviewed by: Summary: All the Minneapolis trails are mannaged by the park board. This includes Theodore Wirth, Cedar Lake, Minnehaha.... In case some of you haven't noticed there is a new paved path that ends at the west side of the woods near the big new houses at the golf course trail. Don't go giving them a reason to hurry up and run it all the way through. Recommended Route: The recommended route would be that people stay off the golf course. If you are biking on the golf course or in areas marked off limits you are going to screw up the Minneapolis trails for everyone! Other recommended trails in the same area: Oh hey ya and thanks all you idiots who trashed the lower part of the Wirth section (Part closest to 55 south of the RR tracks). You killed the best short loop in Minneapolis just because you couldn't wait for it to dry up.

, from Roseville Summary: The trail is tacky, lots of roots, and some logs/sticks to climb over. It is winding and tight, lots of tight turns and some spots that you barely fit between the trees. There are quite a few tight turns while either climbing or descending that are kind of tough, challenging, but not impossible. There are no long climbs and no flat sections, lots of short steep hills both up and down. The system is more about finesse than speed, but you need power to get up the short climbs. Some sections are similar to the "Expert" part of Terrace, butlonger and not sandy like that.
