Weekend Warrior Summary: This is an all new singletrack trail. Don't bother reading any reviews prior to 05/07 as that trail no longer exists.
Go to morcmtb.org for all the details on this great trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Terrace Oaks, MN River Bottoms

Cross Country Rider Summary: the new trail is a blast. It is nothing like the old one. this one has tight, narrow, twisty trails. lots of things in the trail like rocks, roots, branchs, etc, so you have to be alert most of the time. it has a few short sweet climbs, a couple of downhills you can get some speed. you have to careful on some of the corners, they are off camber without berms, so to much speed will have you hugging a tree pretty fast. It is alot tighter than Leb, and you can't go as fast but it is just as fun in it's own way. Other recommended trails in the same area: Leb, river bottoms, terrace oaks.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Murphy Hanrehan was once nothing but gravel covered ski trails. the Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists (MORC) www.morcmtb.org in cooperation with the land manager have transformed this into a brand new 10 mile singltrack trail system! Ignore all the reviews you have seen up until this one as they no longer apply. Opening a 10 mile brand new singletrack trail is no easy accomplishment, but MORC and 3RPD pulled it off. This is a brand new trail, so features and obstacles will be added by the trail crew over time. Until then enjoy some of the best scenery the Twin Cities has to offer as you ride this excellent singletrack trail. Recommended Route: Check out http://www.morcmtb.org/trailreviews/metro/murphy.shtml for a full trail review, including pictures, maps, routes, directions etc. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lebanon Hills, Terrace Oaks, Theo Wirth, Battle Creek, Mammoth

Weekend Warrior Summary: Very good trail for people wanting a workout. Trail consists of pretty lung-busting uphills and screaming downhills. Surface is either fire track (fine gravel) or a mixture of rock and sand. No technical stuff at all.
If you want to work on your climbing technique then go here - there's one hill that I could not do but the resulting downhill is great fun. Warning - it takes a right turn 2/3 of the way down. I got 36 mph down here on my rigid, I found braking to be nearly impossible! :-)
The left turn that everyone mentioned is pretty well marked but I can see how it might be a problem - be warned.
I was charged a parking fee for being there on the weekend. Take $4 and a pen to fill in the parking slip, if not you could face a fine of $80 or so the nice warden told me. Recommended Route: Only one avaliable. Other recommended trails in the same area: The Farm or Lebanon (double expert) for technical, Terrace Oaks for some fast downhill.
