Weekend Warrior Summary: The trail i have be told is about 25 miles long and at the lydale trail head it can go to ways. To the right and it will be winding and bumpy with a raft going across the nine mile creek coming out at a ped bridge over by dred scott playing field. if you continue it will have a decent into a double track and it will be a little windy. i only got 1/2 have mile in on dred scott entrance but it was still fun. now if you go to the left at lyndale ive been told it is a good climbing area with a few bumps and alot of decents. i will know more when my new bike is ready. i hope to get out when it all drys up and do the whole thing but for now im am left to day dream. it is the only trail i have been on but i like it and can't to go up to lutsen and get more technical.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Mostly flat hard pack. Some logs and jumps, multiple routes to the same destination. It's a cool ride if you take it fast. Have to push yourself to keep the trail enjoyable. I take a digger almost everytime I go out, there are some sandy patches that you have to look out for. I have road tires on my MTB right now gettting ready for the Ironman this weekend. Gonna hit the trail up with em tonight if that tells ya anything. Recommended Route: I drop in on the west side down by the railroad tracks and take it down to the Fairy Bridge. When I get my nubbies back on I'll go check out what's past it. Other recommended trails in the same area: Don't know, gotta go find some new ones.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a fun trail to ride. Great to bring less skilled riders along.Dont ride this trail if you are looking for a real technical trail. Pretty smooth and not too hilly. I thought the downhill sections to the east of the Lyndale parking lot was the best part of the system. Burmed corners are fun for everyone. These trails are more fun ridden fast, so shift into a higher gear and let 'er rip. Recommended Route: I would suggest an out and back to the east of the Lyndale parking lot. Ride all the trails that go off of the main trail. Makes for a good variety, and some more windy singletrack. Heading west from Lyndale is very flat and a wider trail. The ferry is a unique addition, but I found it added more of a hassle than fun. My suggestion, Build a small bridge across next to the ferry, and give people an option. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lebanon Hills

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from San Francisco Summary: This is a rolling, mostly flat, hard-packed dirt singletrack trail. We started just off Lyndale Avenue, and rode both E and W from here, doubling back, and then riding to the raft ferry, crossed on this ferry, and rode another several miles going west. The trail was a little wet in places, but was not too muddy to ride. The ferry crossing was fun, the scenery is beautiful in parts, and the trail has a few moderately challenging technical aspects (logs across trail, primarily). There were two of us and we had between us one dual suspension MTB, and one hybrid with slicks, and I rode most of it on the hybrid with slicks with no problems, so that should give you an idea of the level of technical challenge here. Overall, this is a fun, fairly easy fast singletrack ride that is almost completely flat. This would be a great ride for someone new to mountain biking. Recommended Route: Ride everything you see. Other recommended trails in the same area: Milaca City Trails
